Oh Natalie....

With Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium coming out, it was inevitable that Ms. Portman would be all over. And hey--I'm not complaining. She definitely needs more recognition than she already has so far. This is way more refreshing than hearing about Brit's custody battles.

Natalie is not only on the cover of Instyle...but Teen Vogue as well! I'm not a Teen Vogue type of person, but maybe I'll give in for some Natalie...

She's looks so gorgeous on both covers, but I think Teen Vogue is confused with seasons (that looks like a summer cover, no?)....

I think I'm gonna have to shell out more money for magazines..again. But I'm willing to spend for Nats.

The Wait is Over...Well, Almost.

The premiere date of the fourth season of Project Runway will be Wednesday, November 14th. It's official!!! Being an avid fan, I'm so happy that the wait for a premiere date is over!! Ahh excitement rushes in me.

The date was announced during the season finale of Top Chef last Wednesday. Millions of fans, I am sure, were very happy by this surprise.

The same old, but lovable regulars are back: Heidi's still the host, Nina and Michael are still judging, and...my favorite....TIM GUNN IS STILL MENTORING!!!

Fifteen new aspiring winners will compete for a spread of their designs in ELLE magazine, a new car, $100,000 cash prize and a chance to sell their designs on bluefly.com.

This is totally getting me pumped, and I can't not wait til this premieres. A chain of PR posts are definitely confirmed in the future. :]

A Lack.

Since a cold has ensued in my unfortunate life right now, I figured this time at home would be suited if I at least updated this blog. Gosh it's been over a week!

Sorry about the title of this post. I'm afraid that is lacking as well. :\

Anywho.

Being that it is almost late 2007, Radiohead have yet to release their highly anticipated seventh album. I have been looking around for just a little ounce of news on it, and even their blog, Dead Air Space, did not answer my questions. However, I have found a few older articles, including this article from NME.

Apparantly, I missed some crucial posts of Dead Air Space, for as a matter of fact, Thom Yorke, lead singer, did mention something regarding the album.

In Yorke's own words: "Interestingly enough it's similar to 'OK Computer' in a way. It's much more terrifying. But 'OK Computer' was terrifying too -some of the lyrics were."

This gets me quite excited, for OKC being my favorite album of theirs. As for the whole 'terrifying' aspect of it, hey--they're Radiohead. They gotta break down some walls, no?

Sadly, they didn't show the whole article on the NME website. But from what I've found so far, it has seemed extremely promising.

The Gunn Show

School has really been eating up my time--and part of my time is blogging time. If you don't see posts throughout the week, I'm probably outlining history homework. :(

But no fear! I haven't given up on this blog just yet. My best bet is that I will definitely do some major post-age on weekends.

Anyways, back to the topic of reason. For about three weeks now, I have been PSYCHED about former Parsons instructor and Project Runway mentor Tim Gunn's new show on Bravo called 'Tim Gunn's Guide To Style', which is very apropos. This man is a fashion therapist, someone every girl needs now and then. The tag line: "Your style, my rules".

The premise of the show is with the help with former supermodel Veronica Webb, Mr. Gunn helps style-challenged women. They don't just teach the women how to dress nicely, though, but more so teaching them how to dress fashionably with their own sense of style. Rather than just piling cashmere sweater after cashmere sweater on the poor woman's laps and bark at them to buy them, the style duo want them to be happy with the clothes, and that it personifies them. They compile a list consisting of items needed in women's closets, including the perfect black pant and casual work dress. Not only do all the clothes fit into the stylish category, but also the refreshed woman's style as well.

After an aerobic workout's worth of shopping, grooming is up next. Hair and makeup great out the refreshing new lady, looking more polished and ready to get out there.

This show is pretty amazing, from what I saw on the season premiere. It's similar to What Not To Wear, but the women have more of their voice in the decision, which is crucial to bringing together your own great style. Everything is just fabulous, right down to those black pointed toe pumps shown in the episode.

Don't hesitate to watch this show! If you ever see a rerun of the premiere, brace yourself for a Catherine Malandrino appearance!! :)

Cross Dressing?

Well, actually, no.

Face it: women love good-looking guys. Sure, there's that 'well he has to have a personality' philosophy too, which I definitely believe in. Women are judgmental, vain creatures, to some realistic extent. But, there sure as hell ain't a problem about a rather dashing gentleman. Say a lady's at a bar, and she turns around to see this bloke in front of her. Tall, dark, handsome, great energy: Components to any woman's perfect man. She whispers to her friend that's sipping on a cosmopolitan next to her something about the guy's looks, with a flushed smirk across her face. It's kinda obvious what she'd say, no? Okay, well let's change one thing: what if that lady was ME? Yes, I'm a girl, but this can totally change the situation. I see the lad, eying him from the distance. My heart skips a beat, my eyes bulge with sheer amazement. I nudge my friend next to me, nearly spilling her cosmo, and I shriek in her ear, while still keeping my gaze on the guy....

...."I love his clothes!! He has such great style!"

Yeah, sounds pathetic--albeit fitting, right? I mean, come one it's ME in the situation here, not some norm here. I'm rather...what's the word...weird?

One little tidbit about me you might wanna know: I notice the clothes first, looks second. Now could it just be my inner fashionista being shallow and superficial once again? But actually, I find it to be a rather humbling quality of mine. All women universally know this one fact: Even if he's hot, he'll probably be a jackass. Now hold on before you bite me, there are always exceptions...perhaps the guy that YOU have is the perfect little parcel. But anyone...ANYONE. Can agree with me. It's like that old saying: 'Looks can be deceiving'. But clothes, however, have a different meaning. If a guy can dress himself, it shows his personality, and his expressionisms. And how he lives life. Now isn't personality the most important thing? :]

Now this bloke I was talking about: how does he dress, you wonder? I mean, he better look amazing to meet my standards. Just imagine the tailored, clean cut eclecticisms of Muse meets the laid-back comforts of Rupert Grint. Need visuals? No problemo.

Now isn't that so refreshing to see, especially after having to witness the same kind of style at school all the time? Indeed, it is.

Which brings me to my cross dressing reference: If I were a guy, I'd totally dress like them. I'd never be afraid of slipping on some Italian alligator boots or utilitarian wool cardigans (I practically live in cardigans anyways). Vests? Not a problem. Suspenders? Bring it. Hell, I don't even have to be a guy to wear them. I'd wear them right now. Just with a tad bit of subtlety. As much as I love my feminine frilly dresses and flats, I quite enjoy the androgynous look that is slowly becoming prominent these days. Who knows, maybe if I find a guy I could share a few sweaters or too with him. ;]

So even though guys don't 'seem' to care about what they wear, it really does tell women who they are, in some sense. So guys, if you ever read this, don't be too hasty while you are getting ready for the day, alright? ;]

Sadly, slowly...

Lately, I've found very little inspiration for some posts. Blogs have been on the quiet front for a while, and even pitchfork doesn't have a rather annoying yet entertaining record review. I'll do some snooping around for some interesting pieces.

Until then, just take the last couple days of summer to relax before it's back to hell again.

PB&J At The VMAs

According to pitchforkmedia, Peter Bjorn & John will be ditching their gigs at Montreal's Osheaga Festival and Toronto's V Festival to attend the MTV Video Music Awards on September 9th. The Swedish trio are nominated for the 'Best New Artist', along with the likes of Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse. They promise to make up to their Canuck fans, stating that 'this is an exciting opportunity' for them.

I'm so proud that my favorite Swede band is nominated and in an award show that usually caters bad music to soulless teenyboppers and D-quality musicians who know very little about true music, and acknowledged by an empire that rarely plays music videos, and instead airs low-rated realty shows. At least one person on the MTV team wasn't smoking crack. I really do hope they win, for their own sake.

But I cannot help but wonder...are they selling out? I mean, it's MTV for Christ's sake, perhaps they are merely trying to attract a new and different crowd? In a musical vortex filled with Fall Out Boys and Panic! At The Discos, would PB&J actually be loved as a great band, or just liked because it's considered 'cool' to like 'indie'? Hell, PB&J are probably not considered indie anymore, much to pitchfork's dismay. I just hope that the guys come back to their original musical roots, and don't attract the wrong attention like Wino.

Anyways, good luck Peter Bjorn and John! Hope you guys win it.

Until then, here's a PB&J song I just can't get out of my head:

(By the way, I find the album version better. Meh. It's still PB&J, damnit! It's all good.)

Cashmere or Lipstick?

Fall is a great season for special pleasures:fashion, Thanksgiving, and TV shows. Two of the handful of shows premiering this fall season are Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle. Both seem like awesome shows for the fabulous, but do I have to choose? Cashmere will premiere on Tuesday November 27 at 1o, but will then move to 9 on December 4. Lipstick will not premiere til January, and will fill the Sunday 10 timeslot. Although I seem to be veering to the Cashmere side, it would conflict with my viewing of Law and Order and House. Troubling, yes, but I think I'll manage to check out both shows. Living fabulous lives in my dream city? Has my name written all over it. Carrie Bradshaw who? There are new fabulous ladies in town.

Until then, the trailers:

Swede Style

New York City...Paris...Milan...

...Stockholm? Indeed the immediate connotation is not 'fashion capital', but perhaps instead meatballs and smörgåsbord. Lagerfeld, Jacobs and Galliano may not hail from this Nordic city, but fashion has a more...practical approach. Neutral tights and draping fabrics mixed with classic pieces make a simple, yet envious style for people of Stockholm. Many Swedish designers create immaculately stylish pieces, despite the cliche of parkas and milk-maid dresses.

My new blog of the moment is Stockholmstreetstyle. Yes, I do realize it is not in English. But the photos are all I need. After all, a picture says a thousand words. A thousand fashionably apt words.

It is so casual, yet undeniably chic. The classic trench coat paired with the exotic multi-colored print dress. Fabulous. Those shades don't hurt, either.

More classics: The wool peacoat and black boots. Definitely necessities for this autumn, and this lovely lady goes for modern chic.

The high-tops with grey skinnies and leopard print bag scream street scene, yet the coat and and scarf softens the whole ensemble just a tad, creating something pulled together, yet still eclectic.
The mustard yellow of the jacket really compliments the neutrals of her outfit, creating a balance. (I want that jacket, by the way)

Not only do the ladies have impeccable style, but the gentlemen do as well! Skinnies and sweaters dominate the male wardrobe. And the European sense and air helps as well.*sigh* If only guys of suburbia dressed so stylishly... Perhaps they'd be just slightly more bearable!

Even kids have great style! Look at their chucks and jackets, thrown together so nonchalantly. Gosh, if I were 12, I'd totally be in love with them.

Perhaps Stockholm will the new Paris for sophistication? I'd rather not say, but this Scandinavian metropolis will definitely be part of my style inspirations.

Chris the Collab King! (Well, I Guess Kanye Too...)

So I was visiting the messgaeboard today--one of the numerous times I do daily. As I scroll down, an intriguing thread catches my eye, with the title: "Kanye West featuring Chris Martin -- Homecoming". Now, the buzz for the collaboration has been around for a while. But the song actually leaked just recently, and everyone is talking about it! Well, people on the messageboard anyways. I was dying with curiosity...and it turns out, the original poster deleted the mp3 link. -__- Alas, my new Bff Youtube had multiple clips. And here tis:

Now, before listening to this, I thought that it would be similar to Chris's collaboration he did with Jay-Z earlier this year called 'Beach Chair', which was featured on Jay's 'Kingdom Come' album. Although I adore Chris, that collab was merely mediocre. Two amazing musical artists collaborating comes with great expectations, and 'Beach Chair' did not meet to them. Jay and Kanye are not the only ones that vied for Chris's contributions, for Justin Timberlake, the metro-dancing-sock-puppet himself requested Martin's vocals, but he kindly declined. Now that definitely deflated Timberlake's head by an inch or two.

Anyways, about 'Homecoming'. Although it would take me some time to get use to this, but for now, I'll say that I enjoyed it very much. The infectious, happy piano is certainly unColdplay-like. However, considering this is a Kanye song, this is really impressive. Their different, yet highly distinctive voices mesh together smoothly, creating minute edge with subtle flow, all coming together to be something new.

Hope this will be a single, and I'm sure the video will be great.

So, when you ask yourself that golden question: 'Who's album would I buy: 50 or Kanye?' Well I know is this formula: Kanye + Daft Punk + Chris Martin. Now YOU do the math.

My apologies...

...for my lack of posts. My mind has been somewhere else. But with the pseudo-crisis cleared out of the way, I hope to get some posts in.

Now waaaay back (if you don't remember, just scroll down a bit), I had mentioned--actually, I didn't just mention, I frickin' went on a tirade about the September issue of Elle. Though I still despise the fact that the best issue of the year is wasted on a girl that' s part of the 'skank brigade', The fashion sustenance did not disappoint. Perhaps this is the best fashion coverage EVER, with over 590 pages of fashionista bliss. There were plenty adverts, but they can be as useful as fashion director Nina Garcia's 'Elle Shops' section. While perusing through the heavenly crisp pages, I couldn't help but be in awe of the fabulous new layout. Text and graphics are arranged in an edgier, yet simplistic view, and it's all thanks to Elle's new creative director, Joe Zee.

Although I've had the new issue for a while now, I've yet to completely finish reading it. But from what I've read so far, I am extremely satisfied. Fashionistas don't fret--Elle is turning around!

sábado, 4 de agosto de 2007

Shoot me in the eye right now...

...so I don't have to see the horrid cover of the September issue of ELLE. I was doing my usual perusing through elle.com, and what do I see as the new cover? Lindsay Lohan. *eyeroll* What is going on with ELLE? Wasn't Lohan on the September issue last year? Jesus, let some other notable people to be the cover story. Like models. Please, I thought this was a fashion magazine! I'm getting really disgusted with this. I didn't bother read her cover story last year, and nothing is gonna change my mind this year. I mean, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the August issue with Sarah Jessica Parker. How can you follow Sarah Jessica with LINDSAY? Okay, I have to stop. Thinking about it more makes me sick. Hopefully the Fall fashion material will make up for the horrible choice for cover story. =\

Hopefully soon I'll see it for myself, when it comes in the mail....but I'm still sure as hell NOT excited for a third of the 'skank brigade'.

Sit the FUCK down!

Yeah, you heard him. Listen to Mister Dom. SIT THE FUCK DOWN!!!!

Hells yeah.

Muse = Sit the fuck down.

They are that awesome.

Happy Belated Birthday Har--Err-- Daniel!

I was gonna post this yesterday, but I was feeling like a lazyass. Anyways, Happy 18th, you sexy bastard!

**Speaking of Daniel, I finally saw HP5! It was good, a little rushed at the end, but good. I'm not gonna go into a page-long review of the movie, that's something that Pitchfork would do (and do horribly...). I give it an 8/10. It was good. The end.

Mister Dom and His Prettyful Trousers.

Oh Dom. How I love you. You are probably the cutest little drummer in the history of the world. But you know what I also love about you other than your undeniable talent? Your trousers!!!

Behold, Dominic Howard...and his trousers.

Sorry...I just HAD to put this one in! vv

Speaking of Muse, I cannot stop listening to them today! They are playing on iTunes as I type. One song that I just can't stop listening to: Stockholm Syndrome. The very first song that I had heard from Muse. I fell in love instantly. Curious? Check it out yourself:

Two Days Left.

I Feel Annoyed.

Today has been a peaceful, relaxing day so far. But there has been a lot on my mind, and a lot of things that are bothering me. Rather than just going on about them in an essay, I'll just make a list:

1. How Americans are starting to call it 'football' now that Posh & Becks are here.

I'm not gonna lie, I've always wondered when will Americans actually call the damn sport by its real name (football). I call it football myself, with a bunch of people staring at me when I do so. I don't call it that just to sound intelligent or pretentious. I call it football because that's its frackin' name. When I hear those 'news' correspondents on E! calling it football now, I just wanna throw an actual football at Ryan Seacrest's head. With all the Americans calling it football now, it sounds so snobby and...phoney. They could give two shits about the sport, but would all of the sudden call it by its actual name. Please. Let's just call keep it as soccer, before England and the rest of the world is laughing at us and at our hypocrisy.

2. Hollister

Let me make one thing clear: I have nothing against PEOPLE who wear Hollister (well, maybe some...). However, I do have something against the actual clothing. First of all: ew? How cookie-cutter and generic can they get? Polo shirts that cost $40 and microminis that Gary Coleman can wear as a headband. How can people call this fashion? Every time I go to the mall, I dread seeing bottle blondes in fuzzy flip flops and popped collar polos shopping in Hollister and all that other preppy shit. It's expensive and not even remotely cute. People only wear the clothes to fit in with everybody else. But then again, if everyone dressed nicely, there'd be no more for me. =P

3. The sound that silverware make when they scratch each other.

'Nuff said.
4. How adults think that all teenagers are the same.
Because, frankly, they aren't. Not every kid is snobby, mean and whiney. Everyone's different, and many kids are basically like adults trapped in a teenager's body. A lot of kids actually have class and won't do those stupid things that result from peer pressure. I think adults should cut some slack on some kids, because they are not at all bad. Just because they are a teenager, doesn't mean they necessarily have to be treated like one. They can be treated like a mature individual.
5. People that only like music that is mainstream.
I love music. But most of the music that I listen to is unheard of by my friends and the kids at school. When I talk about my music, people just kinda push it aside and are like 'oh, well I listen to Fall Out Boy.' And then, if something that I like plays on the radio, they are totally into it and they're like 'oh em GEE i lovvvvvve that song!' Bullshit, you only like it because other people like it. OH! One time I quoted the line from Closer, the one where Alice (Natalie Portman) says, "lying is the most fun a girl can do without taking their clothes off, but it's better if you do". And all of a sudden my friend snapped at me and gave me a face and said, "Ohh, that's a song from Panic! At the Disco." All snobbishly and shit. I'm like 'uhh yeah I already know that. And they stole the line from Closer. It doesn't make them geniuses if they do that. They probably did it just to seem cool. Also, I hate that frackin' exclamation point in their name. 'Ooooh, this -->! is gonna be so hip. Everyone's gonna think we are a cool indie band!' Uhh yeah...try again. Nevermind, don't try again, because you'll still suck.
Rant over...now.

My Perfect Room

I woke up this morning and looked around my room. It's cluttered with things that I don't want or need. My sister's things basically take up all the space in the room. And she's only eight! How many things can an eight year-old have? And all the things that are mine are just little pieces of junk lying around. I finally came to a conclusion: my room does not show who I am as a person. I may be just a tad bit boring, but come on. Not THIS boring. The paint on the wall doesn't even really describe me. Lavender is one of my favorite colors, but as for describing my personality...I'm not a very soft and gentle person. I am wanting very much to change things in my room, but the chances of that actually happening are slim.
I was surfing through the internet for a little bit today, when I found this very intriguing site. And I must say, the products they carry are awesome! A lot of the stuff is handmade by other people, and people can sign up and sell their own stuff. It's pretty schweet. From the adorable notebooks to the quirky vintage dresses, I could buy their whole stock. And I thought, Wow, a lot of this stuff can be cute for my room. So an idea sparked for another post! What items from Etsy would be perfect for my ideal bedroom. So after perusing for some time, I found a lot of things that would work.

I was thinking of perhaps a new wall color. But then I realized, I would much rather have a plain white wall. That way the contents of my room can speak for itself, not the wall. Also, it's extremely versatile. ;]

This painting's actual size is only 8" x 10", but I find that it's so adorable, and the girl in the picture reminds me of myself. =P
This painting is just lovely (no pun intended...). I love the colors, and the etherealness is very enjoyable.

I love black and white photography. The simplicity of this photo is what really made me fall in love with it. It reminds me of going to Carmel and Monterrey in California last year. Ahhh those were the days...

How quirky is this lamp? So cute...as a matter of fact, I need a new lamp at the moment...

The pillow is kinda retro a la Andy Warhol. And it's green! =D

Reminds me of popsicles... =P Loves it!

So kitsch and I love the blue. Great to put next to 'Bowl'.

Lavender Mint Aromatherapy.... ^.^

I need a new journal, and this is very vintage.

**Yeah....a lot of the stuff doesn't match together. But so what? It's my room, and I hate matchy-matchy stuff. I'm eclectic, so why can't my room be? These items along with the pages of ELLE I've plastered on the walls, It'll be perfect.

'Emma'zing.

Yeah, I know. It's not the greatest pun ever. Don't kill me for it. I'm still working on it.
Anyway, onward to our subject. I had no idea this girl was that awesome! She's so gorgeous, intelligent, level-headed, and for her age, she's pretty good as an actress. What's that I hear? The next Kate Winslet? Perhaps, my darlings, perhaps...
In People Magazine, she speaks of how girls today are...not so bright:
"There are too many stupid girls in the media. Hermione's not scared to be clever. I think sometimes really smart girls dumb themselves down a bit, and that's bad."

"I'm a bit of a feminist. I'm very competitive and challenging."

Seriously, does this girl know how to preach or what? Damn, America needs more classier girls like her.

Even though acting is definitely a passion she'll live with for most of her life, she plans to go to university. And with her grades, I'm sure she won't have much trouble. She's a straight A student! Wow, a girl with smarts. I truly admire her.

And on TOP of all of that, she seems to be the new face of French fashion powerhouse Chanel. For a seventeen year-old, that is one hell of a feat. When I think of teenagers in Chanel, I tend to think of teenyboppers carrying the giant quilted bag in one hand and Starbucks in another while shopping for polos in Hollister. Ick. It's such a damn shame, for the designs that were meant to be seen as the classiest of the world can look so cheap and trendy. It seriously makes me gag. I'm sure Madamoiselle Coco is rolling in her grave right now. But enough about that. Miss Watson definitely brings class back to the Chanel facade once again, appearing in various Chanel ensembles at the OOTP premieres:

UK Premiere

LA Premiere

Paris Premiere

Also, she's supposedly signed to Storm, the modeling agency that boosted Kate Moss to fame. Wow, Monsuier Karl, you must be very confident in this gem. Well I don't blame him. She pulls off the dresses with such class and sophisication and I envy that immensely. Maybe she'll be on my idol list, right under Natalie Portman. Above Natalie, you ask? Nonsense. Not yet anyways. But you can ask me in ten years, maybe things could change... ;]

At The Moment:

Feels: Like hopping on a plane and going off to Paris. (Because I SHOULD be, dammit!)

Listening to: Klaxon's Myths of the Near Future
Reading: Possible Side Effects by Augusten Burroughs

Watching: Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain (A.k.a one of the greatest movies of ALL TIME)

Doing: Thinking what else I could do this summer...
Hoping: Everything will be okay.

GET THEM OUT OF HERE!!!!

Seriously, I'm getting SICK of these two...and Beckham didn't even start his season at LA Galaxy yet.

Britain should be pretty happy to get rid of these two. Ugh too bad Americans have to deal with them now...

Becks used to be looked at as a football star. He still is, but not the way he used to. Can you say, 'sell-out'? Please, he says he's coming here to help bring soccer back in America, but who's he trying to fool? He is merely coming here for Hollywood and fame. I'm not a Beckham fan at all, but this could really ruin his football career.

Don't get me started on Victoria. Jesus Christ, what is up with those 'girls'? Bullshit, those are not real. I hope the pollution here doesn't deflate them...
Girl has to smile once in a while. the whole leaving-mouth-open-sleazily thing is not cute. Be a little human okay? Oh, and stop being a label whore, and eat a big mac.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe America will welcome them in open arms (TomKat did...). But my opinions stand strong: I don't like them. WANNA FIGHT?

Some Photos...

I'm interested in photography, and I'm taking the photography course next year at South. Right now, I'm an amateur photographer lacking the talent and equipment. =P I'm not the greatest, and I can never take the perfect picture. It's frustrating sometimes, when I'm trying to do some awesome stills, and they turn out incredibly crappy. And I don't have a great camera. I have this shitty digital camera that is on the verge of breaking. It's annoying, but I suppose it'll do for now. Everyone has those awesome Nikon cameras that take amazing pictures, and I don't! When I see people's work I'm like 'wow, why can't I do that?' Well first off, I don't have the same talent as them. Second, I don't have an awesome camera, like this:

Isn't it gorgeous? Problem is, it's pretty expensive. Really really good ones can go up to $1,000. Oh gee, how great for me. I'm already broke as it is. So, if anyone wants to be generous and hook a sister up with a nice camera, that'd be great appreciated. ;]
Until I miraculously find some money, I take pictures with my old camera. And these, well, they aren't great. But it's the best I've done:
I was knitting one day and I was inspired by the ball of yarn I was working with. It's one of the best I've done. I love the deepness of the red and the texture of the yarn.

I'll admit, this one was altered one the computer. =P I was taking pictures of the sky last summer, and the original colors were a mix of blues, pinks and purples. I played around with the colors and I like the reds and oranges. It looks like a fire in the sky, doesn't it?

Hehe, my friend Katie and I had a tea party at lunch with the Princess tea set she got on her birthday. It was a lot of fun! We drank flavored water in the tea cups and ate 'biscuits' (sugar cookies...) =P This is one of my favorite pictures as well. I look the brightness of the colors and the lines of the table.
