Some Photos...

I'm interested in photography, and I'm taking the photography course next year at South. Right now, I'm an amateur photographer lacking the talent and equipment. =P I'm not the greatest, and I can never take the perfect picture. It's frustrating sometimes, when I'm trying to do some awesome stills, and they turn out incredibly crappy. And I don't have a great camera. I have this shitty digital camera that is on the verge of breaking. It's annoying, but I suppose it'll do for now. Everyone has those awesome Nikon cameras that take amazing pictures, and I don't! When I see people's work I'm like 'wow, why can't I do that?' Well first off, I don't have the same talent as them. Second, I don't have an awesome camera, like this:

Isn't it gorgeous? Problem is, it's pretty expensive. Really really good ones can go up to $1,000. Oh gee, how great for me. I'm already broke as it is. So, if anyone wants to be generous and hook a sister up with a nice camera, that'd be great appreciated. ;]
Until I miraculously find some money, I take pictures with my old camera. And these, well, they aren't great. But it's the best I've done:
I was knitting one day and I was inspired by the ball of yarn I was working with. It's one of the best I've done. I love the deepness of the red and the texture of the yarn.

I'll admit, this one was altered one the computer. =P I was taking pictures of the sky last summer, and the original colors were a mix of blues, pinks and purples. I played around with the colors and I like the reds and oranges. It looks like a fire in the sky, doesn't it?

Hehe, my friend Katie and I had a tea party at lunch with the Princess tea set she got on her birthday. It was a lot of fun! We drank flavored water in the tea cups and ate 'biscuits' (sugar cookies...) =P This is one of my favorite pictures as well. I look the brightness of the colors and the lines of the table.
