Yeah, I know. It's not the greatest pun ever. Don't kill me for it. I'm still working on it.
Anyway, onward to our subject. I had no idea this girl was that awesome! She's so gorgeous, intelligent, level-headed, and for her age, she's pretty good as an actress. What's that I hear? The next Kate Winslet? Perhaps, my darlings, perhaps...
In People Magazine, she speaks of how girls today are...not so bright:
"There are too many stupid girls in the media. Hermione's not scared to be clever. I think sometimes really smart girls dumb themselves down a bit, and that's bad."
"I'm a bit of a feminist. I'm very competitive and challenging."
Seriously, does this girl know how to preach or what? Damn, America needs more classier girls like her.
Even though acting is definitely a passion she'll live with for most of her life, she plans to go to university. And with her grades, I'm sure she won't have much trouble. She's a straight A student! Wow, a girl with smarts. I truly admire her.
And on TOP of all of that, she seems to be the new face of French fashion powerhouse Chanel. For a seventeen year-old, that is one hell of a feat. When I think of teenagers in Chanel, I tend to think of teenyboppers carrying the giant quilted bag in one hand and Starbucks in another while shopping for polos in Hollister. Ick. It's such a damn shame, for the designs that were meant to be seen as the classiest of the world can look so cheap and trendy. It seriously makes me gag. I'm sure Madamoiselle Coco is rolling in her grave right now. But enough about that. Miss Watson definitely brings class back to the Chanel facade once again, appearing in various Chanel ensembles at the OOTP premieres:
UK Premiere
LA Premiere
Paris Premiere
Also, she's supposedly signed to Storm, the modeling agency that boosted Kate Moss to fame. Wow, Monsuier Karl, you must be very confident in this gem. Well I don't blame him. She pulls off the dresses with such class and sophisication and I envy that immensely. Maybe she'll be on my idol list, right under Natalie Portman. Above Natalie, you ask? Nonsense. Not yet anyways. But you can ask me in ten years, maybe things could change... ;]
