For a while I've told my parents that I'll wait out for a laptop when I start university, but with school practically taking over my life, the thought of getting one right now is not bad at all. Both my brother and I need the computer quite often for school, and sharing a cranky, woeful desktop computer is not easy. The snail's pace and bombardment of annoying ads doesn't help either. Luckily, my mom can get discounts from Dell and Apple from work. So now I'm stuck with a dilemma....Dell or Apple?
Apple is known for their efficient, hi-tech gadgets, but along with their high-end quality comes a high end price. With come research and playing around, my ideal 13-inch Macbook would be around $1400....and possibly more for other softwares. Eeeek, and I don't even know if my mom's discount is even that big. But it's so pretty...

My choice for a Dell laptop would be the Inspiron 13, which rounded up at around $1300, with all my choices of fixings included. It would turn out cheaper than the Macbook, but I wouldn't know if it had the same quality of work as a Mac. Oh, choices. And also, I could pick a nice color to suit my personality. I was thinking the green or the yellow.

So what's a girl to do? Both are exceptional laptops, but I can't decide. I've talked with my mom about it and she says it's all up to me. Aren't parents the ones that usually make these choices for their kids? I should make my decision soon, for I can feel the computer lagging as I type this post!
