Viktor & Rolf...WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?!?!?!?

Recently fashion powerhouse H&M have unveiled the new collection from Viktor&Rolf. Problem is, where is it?

Apparently, the collection is only sold in select cities. Which sucks, because how are they gonna find me in the middle of nowhere? Now I'm just gonna sulk and drown in my Ben & Jerry's.

I took a peek at the collection at hm.com. I almost died.

The collection overall was adorable. Versatile for the women (and men!!!) whom religiously shop at this mecca, yet still in the trademark Viktor&Rolf style. Once you look at the collection, you can instantly tell that, yes, that's from my boys Viktor and Rolf. From the bowties to the ruffles, the borrowed-from-the-boys look is back, and looking good.

Some of my favorites?

^^GORGEOUS!! The classic trench coat at its best.

^^So feminine and chic...and I love the indication of Victorian opulence in the ruffles of the blouse.

^^Simple and elegant. Gorgeous.

[[A Taste of Music]]HERBERT.

Now, I'm usually more into the Indie-Alternative crowd. But while perusing through Pitchforkmedia.com, I found a satisfying album review of Matthew Herbert's album, 'Scale'. Remembering the movie Julia and I are working on, I thought it would be kind of cool in a tongue-in-cheek way to possibly have this guy on our soundtrack for 'Herbert'. Coincidence? I think so.

This critically acclaimed artist from Britain really surprised me. I went into this thinking 'Aww this is some sort of weird alien music'. But alas, I was wrong...as usual. His music is refreshing and is a breath of fresh air from all the other semi-punk bands on the verge to stardom these days. So, I would most definitely recommend you all to ch-ch-check it out!
Hear several of this songs here: http://www.last.fm/music/Herbert. I highly recommend all of the songs, but my personal favorite is 'Moving Like A Train'.
'Scale' is in one of the top spots on my Christmas list....just a little FYI. ;]

Now let me just say...I've had my fair share of blogs and xangas...and I will try to make this work. This will be my collective journal of anything and everything. Rest assured, whatever is going through my head, you will know. =]
